You will find four excellent and well maintained camping sites in the Svenljunga region:
Holsljunga campsite.Beautiful surroundings om Lake Holsjön. Disabled bathing. The shallow beach is ideal for children and there is deep water at the bathing jetty. Café, shop, miniature golf and playground.Kalv family campsite.
Next to nature reserve where rare birds nest. Wilderness surroundings.

Svenljunga campsite.
Indoor pool, jacuzzi, solariums, gym, tennis, miniature golf, sports hall, jogging trail and café. 2 cottages available and tourist information office in the summer.
Överlida campsite.
On a peninsular in Lake Hallången. Cottages available. Shop, laundry and

The settings are beautiful, peaceful and far from the stress that often spoils larger camp sites.These camp sites make an excellent starting point for day excursions to the major tourists attractions of western Sweden.
Cycle toursTwo cycle routes are maintained in collaboration with the Swedish association of cyclists; the Västgötaleden and the Sverigeleden.Walking routes
At Roasjö there are four walking routes that are maintained by local people.
The Svenljunga route runs from the Lindhult road at Holsjön to Djupasjön and is around 10km in length.

There are a lot of lakes where you can fish. In most of the lakes you need to have a fishing license.

An excellent lake for sport fishing and is well stocked with a high standard of service.

CanoeingCanoeing watersYou will find excellent canoeing waters, in the southern part of the district, including the lakes of "Kalvsjön", "Svansjöarna", "Fegen", "Spaden" and many smaller lakes and rivers.The river "Lillån" flows into "the Ätran" which is also exciting canoeing waters where you should watch out for the occasional rapid. You´ll find beautiful and varied waterways all around. But remember that no-one will tidy up after you and the bird life is particulary sensitive. You cannot land in certain places and there are a number of bird sanctuaries -please respect them!
Camping is not allowed within Fegen nature conservation site, except on approved camp sites.
